Dr. Leopardi received his undergraduate dental degree from the University of Adelaide, South Australia, in 1984. He enjoyed private practice as a general dentist in Adelaide, Australia, for several years prior to receiving his specialist training and masters degree in combined fixed, removable and implant Prosthodontics, at the University of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill, in 1993.
At Chapel Hill, he also taught Fixed Prosthodontics as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Upon return to Australia, he began a successful Prosthodontic private practice in the Gold Coast region of Queensland, Australia.
In 1996, he joined the Prosthodontic faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM), Michigan, where he also obtained his American DDS degree. Teaching responsibilities at UDM included Clinical Supervisor and:
- Co-Director of the Fixed Prosthodontic Program,
- Director of the Complete Dentures Program,
- Implant Residency program supervisor.
In 1999, after 15 years of combined academic and dental practice, Dr. Leopardi resumed private practice limited to implant, fixed and removable Prosthodontics in Denver, Colorado. Today he lectures nationally on subjects involving fixed, removable and implant dentistry, and is involved in clinical research. He is also the founder and President of the Denver Implant Study Club and The Knowledge Factory.

Janice is the co-author of Beautiful After Baby which was published in 2012. Additionally, she writes for national publications on image and business etiquette. For the last 10 years, Janice has been recognized as a Top Clinician in CE by Dentistry Today.
She has motivated over 100 different companies, many of them Fortune 500 clients, and speaks to universities and industry conferences. Her coaching and corporate training result in increased excitement, confidence, and clarity that lead to success.
Dr. Mandelaris serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Periodontology, the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants. He has published in several peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, Compendium for Continuing Education in Dentistry, Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry, the Journal of Periodontology, Clinical Advances in Periodontics, and The Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has also contributed several chapters in five different textbooks used worldwide on subjects related to computer guided implantology, CT diagnostics and, most recently, Surgically Facilitated Orthodontic Therapy (a book he edited and which he authored the chapter on surgical therapy). He is a Past President of the Illinois Society of Periodontists and has served on several committees for the American Academy of Periodontology. In 2014, he was one of 52 periodontists worldwide selected to participate in the American Academy of Periodontology’s commissioned Periodontal Regenerative Medicine World Workshop on Emerging Regenerative Approaches for Periodontal Reconstruction.
A nationally recognized expert, he was appointed by the American Academy of Periodontology in 2015 to co-chair the best-evidence consensus workshop on the use of CBCT imaging in Periodontics as well as co-author the academy guidelines. He holds memberships in many professional organizations, most recently including the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and American Society of Bone and Mineral Research. Dr. Mandelaris is in private practice at Periodontal Medicine & Surgical Specialists, LTD in Park Ridge and Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
Mark is the Principal of FunktionalTracker.com, Lead Faculty for Clinical Education at ProSomnus Sleep Technologies, serves on the Guest Faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy and Michigan Schools of Dentistry and as a Regular Presenter on Business Development, Practice Management and Leadership at the Pankey Institute.
He has served on the Boards of Directors of the Pankey Institute, National Association of Dental Laboratories, the Identalloy Council, the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology, St. Vincent DePaul's Dental Center and the Dental Advisor.
He lectures internationally on Leadership, Practice Management, Communication, Case Acceptance, Planning, Occlusion, Sleep and TMD. He has a knack for presenting pertinent information in an entertaining manner.
