Dorothy is an 80 year old woman who presented with old porcelain fused to metal dentistry with purple hued gums from the subgingival metal. Dorothy also was missing a cuspid #6 that led to an asymmetric smile. Dorothyís old restorations were removed and the teeth were prepared for bonded porcelain restorations. Dorothy also underwent aesthetic crown lengthening on #5 to get more height and shape the restoration as a cuspid giving more symmetry to her smile.
