Case Write-up:

The patient presented with heavily restored, discolored upper incisors, that were in crossbite.

Photos and study models were made. The models were transferred to an Ivoclar Stratos 300 articulator with a facebow. The upper incisors were waxed on the articulator verifying that by expanding the arch the crossbite could be corrected and acceptable incisal guidance could be established.

Both upper and lower arches were bleached with Night White and some discolored composite restorations were replaced.

Teeth # 7, #8, #9 and #10 were prepared and temporized using the waxups as a template. When the patient was pleased with the esthetics and function of the temporary crowns, models of the temporary crowns were made and sent to lab so incisal edge position and facial contours could be duplicated. Rockwell Laboratories and I use a custom incisal guide table fabricated from the temporary crowns when the occlusion is changed as was the case here.

Four IPS e.max Press crowns were then fabricated and delivered.
